Transport

The public transport system in Sorocaba is organized, safe and usually runs on time. On Sundays, it operates under special hours (URBES is the name of the company responsible for the urban transportation services).

The public transport system provides two urban bus terminals from which buses take different routes that run throughout the city. The buses are equipped with control technology cards, and drivers are not allowed to receive money, so you must purchase electronic tickets for transportation. These tickets can be purchased at terminals and other points of the city as lotteries, shops, and pharmacies.

There is an exclusive route from Sorocaba city to the campus that works every day, except on Sundays and holidays. An excellent benefit for students is the transportation subsidy offered by the municipality. This benefit allows you to use public transportation at lower fares (student card).
