Sustainable production

it includes theoretical and practical studies on more sustainable production systems, with focus on minimizing consumption of materials and energy, and reduction of waste generation in a life Cycle perspective of products, processes, and services. It involves industrial waste recovery and recycling of materials, and development of sustainable products. It also covers studies on sustainability indicators development, Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), reverse logistics, sustainable manufacturing and Cleaner Production initiatives, generating knowledge and solutions to support sustainable production implementation in companies.
